Creative Challenge: Wreaths

Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're creating wreaths. Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have put their MFT stamps and/or Die-namics dies to work to create a wreath for you today!

I had to participate in this month's challenge because I love wreaths!  I have a board dedicated to them on Pinterest {with 57 pins!} and I've made one or two before...

I went to said wreath board for some inspiration and it won't be hard to figure out which one I chose.  I grabbed my 1/4" Rosette Die-namics and my 3/8" Rosette Die-namics and got to work.  I used a few sheets of my limited 12x12" patterned papers and a wooden wreath form.  I tried to find one online and it looks like this is the closest thing to what I used.  I'm pretty sure I got it at Hobby Lobby, but I would imagine Michaels would have one too.

To embellish, I used the Stacking Stars Die-namics, the Pretty Posies Die-namics, the Rolled Rose Die-namics with red felt, and the Loopy Bloom Die-namics with grey felt.  A few buttons helped, too.

I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to make a little festive flag.  The By the Numbers Die-namics came in helpful, too.  The "Happy" stamp is from the Let's Toast set--love that font!  I used half of the "Happy Birthday" sentiment by only inking up a portion of the stamp.

Some of the rosettes have stickles and/or washi tape on the edges.

Check Kim's blog for the other wreath samples!

Here's all the Die-namics I used:
