Home Sweet Home

It's time to wrap up this fabulous May release with My Favorite Things!  I hope you've enjoyed all the previews and have your wish list ready.  Everything is available in the boutique here.  :)

Tonight, I get to show off Pure Innocence Home Sweet Home.  She's awfully specially to me, because like Giraffe Girl, she's one of my concepts.  I just love seeing an idea come to fruition--it's such a completion to the creative journey.  

Yellow was calling my name, so I kept her outfit soft and sweet.  I just love the key she is holding up.  I colored her with Copics and cut her out with Oval STAX Die-namics.  You'll notice the thin bottom layer was also cut with the Oval Stax.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of ivory cardstock cut with the Circle STAX Die-namics and layered on a Mini Doily Circles Die-namics {lurve these!}.  

The background panel has a piece of cardstock cut with the Open Scallop Border Die-namics and a piece of felt cut with the Small Scallop Border Die-namics.  Don't forget to use those fabulous borders that are in your collection!  I also used a piece of black ribbon and twine to tie up a little key embellishment.  Look closer:
