Mahalo

We're drawing closer and closer to release day!  Before we celebrate the full release, we have to show off the new Pure Innocence girls.

You know how sometimes I get to say this is one of my "concepts?"  Well, this one was not one of mine, but I wish it was!  LOL.  Hawaii holds a special place in my heart since I got married there and I sure wish I would have thought of this one!

I started by stamping the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring her with Copics.  I cut her out leaving a small white edge.  I cut a circle using my Circle STAX Die-namics to anchor her and create a place for her to be.  I couldn't wait to use the new Hibiscus Die-namics (it is fabulous, by the way!) as a large embellishment.  Here's a close up:

I layered on a flag using the Fishtail Flag STAX Die-namics.  I had some pretty chipboard banner accents that matched the patterned paper.  I love the one in the middle especially, it reinforces the Hawaiian theme here.  Here's a close up:

Lastly, I have a close up of the darling new Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics.  I used the smallest on in the set and it was a perfect fit for the sentiment.  These new tags are going to get a major workout in my craft room!

Oh my Gosh! these are all so fantastic! I wish I'd stayed up later last night -- OK, not really, they're making my dad today! -- Oh wait, there's another comment from me but I didn't see all of these -- hmmm. Well, anyway, I love your cards!
